Mushroom Spore PRINTS are foil deposits that contain spores for microscopy use only.

Strain origin – 

Philly Golden Teacher graciously presented Bas with the Blue Ape Revert strain as a heartfelt gift. Little did they know that this generous gesture would lead to an intriguing journey within the confines of the laboratory. Through a meticulous cultivation process, this unique strain unveiled an extraordinary and rare characteristic – the emergence of rust and golden-hued spores. The Original BAPER is a reverted APE mushroom with blue hues and white stipes.

This remarkable discovery expands the boundaries of mycological knowledge, joining the ranks of just seven documented rust or gold-spored genetic variations worldwide. Surpassing even the elusive albino strains in rarity, the BAPER-R strain stands out with its captivating coloration and exceptional performance. It undeniably earns its status as a truly remarkable find in the world of mycology.

Gill formation – Gills typically are medium to large, wide range of formation. Very low spore production observed, potential transitional to albino is possible.

Microscopic features – RUST brown mushroom spores.  Spore measure 7 x 12 micrometers.  Has dropped spores from time to time. Germination of spores will often be observed having clamp connections and fine feathered mycelium. Microscopes and magnification equipment is recommended for viewing microscopic features.
