Orissa India – Spore Print

Mushroom Spore swabs are sterile cotton swabs that contain spores for microscopy use only. Spore prints are mushroom spores collected to foil, glass and preserved for genetic collections. 

Strain origin – Orissa India – Originally founded by John Allen. This Indian cubensis is an aggressive healthy variety. Keeping to the true nature of this variety, our friends in Austria keep this a stapel F3 from wild. Keeping this geneitc line true. Orissa produces very large flushes and is quickly becoming a mycology favorite.

1. Gill formation – Gills typically are medium to large, wide range of formation. Likely to have available gills for spore production.
2. Microscopic features – Purplish brown spores.  Spores measure 7 x 12 micrometers. This variety, Orissa India cubensis discharges spores during sporulation. Spores can be printed to be observed under magnification. Germination of spores will often be observed having clamp connections and fine feathered mycelium. Microscopes and magnification equipment are recommended for viewing microscopic features.
