Strain origin – This Wild Land race hailing from Puerto Rico. Found in the countryside of Cabo Rojo. This cube has beautiful fruits and all that original genetic makeup of wild natural mycelium. Born only to the fields and its natural environment, these will surely be a healing microscopy project. The municipality is also home to several natural landmarks, including the Cabo Rojo National Wildlife Refuge and the Cabo Rojo Salt Flats. The Cabo Rojo National Wildlife Refuge is a protected area that encompasses over 1,800 acres of mangrove forests, salt flats, and wetlands. It is home to a variety of bird species, including the endangered brown pelican and the Caribbean coot. The Cabo Rojo National Wildlife Refuge is home to a variety of wild mushrooms as well, found on grazing pasture lands. The Cabo Rojo Landrace is a great project for anyone looking for a raw wild genetic experience.
- Gill formation – Gills typically are medium to large, wide range of formation. Likely to have available gills for spore production. Spores do discharge.
- Microscopy features Purple spores. Spore measure 7 x 12 micrometers. This variety does typically discharge plenty spores. Microscopes and magnification equipment are recommended for viewing microscopic features.
