Albino Burma – Spore Swab

Strain origin – Albino Burma is an albino variant of Southeast Asia’s classic, Burma strain. Although this strain is not a true albino (it still produces some pigment), this strain produces porcelain white caps. The original Burma sample was collected from just outside of Yangon, Myanmar — formerly known as Burma.

1. Gill formation – Gills typically are medium to large, wide range of formation. Likely to have available gills for spore production.
2. Microscopic features – Purplish brown spores.  Spores measure 7 x 12 micrometers. This variety Albino burma cubensis discharges spores during sporulation. Spores can be printed to be observed under magnification. Germination of spores will often be observed having clamp connections and fine feathered mycelium. Microscopes and magnification equipment are recommended for viewing microscopic features
