Albino Avery – Spore Swab
Mushroom Spore swabs are sterile cotton swabs that contain spores for microscopy use only. Spore prints are mushroom spores collected to foil, glass and preserved for genetic collections.
Strain origin – Albino Avery- spore swab, is a rare strain of Psilocybe cubensis believed to be an albino mutation of the Cambodian strain. There’s not a spot of pigment on the fruiting bodies, which gives them incredibly beautiful eye appeal.
- Gill formation – Gills typically are medium to large, wide range of formation. Likely to have available gills for spore production.
- Microscopic features – Purplish brown spores. Spores measure 7 x 12 micrometers. This variety Albino Avery cubensis does not discharge spores during sporulation. Spores can be swabbed to be observed under magnification. Germination of spores will often be observed having clamp connections and fine feathered mycelium. Microscopes and magnification equipment are recommended for viewing microscopic features
- Rare varieties of psilocybe cubensis will be retired in the Genetic Vault. Check out the Vault for more unique collectable varieties! Affiliated mycology businesses that offer lab equipment and tools visit basmycology.com
