Description
Yeti – Spore Swab
Strain origin – Yeti – Spore Swab is a genetic isolation of the more widely known True Albino Teacher strain developed by an internet-famous mycologist who goes by the forum username Jik Fibs. “Fibs”, a frequent user of the Shroomery forum, had five albino fruits grow from a Golden Teacher cultivation. He then took clones from the mutation and swabbed them. “Fibs” cultivated the strain until he produced three generations of full albino shrooms.
- Gill formation – Gills typically are medium to large, wide range of formation. Likely to have available gills for spore production.
- Microscopic features – Clear spores. Spores measure 7 x 12 micrometers. This variety Yeti cubensis does not discharge spores during sporulation. Spores can be swabbed to be observed under magnification. Germination of spores will often be observed having clamp connections and fine feathered mycelium. Microscopes and magnification equipment are recommended for viewing microscopic features
- Rare varieties of psilocybe cubensis will be retired in the Genetic Vault. Check out the Vault for more unique collectable varieties! Affiliated mycology businesses that offer lab equipment and tools visit basmycology.com
- Mushroom Spore swabs are sterile cotton swabs that contain spores for microscopy use only. Spore prints are mushroom spores collected to foil, glass and preserved for genetic collections.
Spores intended for microscopy, taxonomy and novelty purposes only. Informational and educational reference only and originate from cultivators and labs outside the US. Cultivation of this species is illegal in many countries including the United States. Please check your local regulations. California, Idaho, and Georgia resident Orders requesting Psilocybe Genera Spores shipped to California, Idaho, and Georgia will be refused.

Yeti is one of my favorite TAT isolations. BAS never disappoints with their plates and swabs. Potent bulbous fruits, with multiple flushes. (5+) It seems to take a bit longer to pin and fruit between flushes than some other varieties, but worth the wait and typical for most of the TAT ISO’s. 5⭐️ it’s a feel good, nice visual time!
