San Bernard – Spore Print

Mushroom Spore swabs are sterile cotton swabs that contain spores for microscopy use only. Spore prints are mushroom spores collected to foil, glass and preserved for genetic collections. 

Strain origin – Wild, Found in Bernard Texas is a beautiful natural cubensis strain.  This is a first generation spore from wild landrace variety.  

1. Gill formation – Gills typically are medium to large, wide range of formation. Likely to have available gills for spore production.
2. Microscopic features – Purplish brown spores.  Spores measure 7 x 12 micrometers. This variety Debary,cubensis discharges spores during sporulation. Spores can be printed to be observed under magnification. Germination of spores will often be observed having clamp connections and fine feathered mycelium. Microscopes and magnification equipment are recommended for viewing microscopic features
