Strain origin – Penis Envy 7 (PE7): An Exclusive Find, meticulously isolated and initially stabilized by the mycologist known as “Joshua,” is a treasure for mushroom enthusiasts. PE7 stands out with its abundant flushes, robust and distinctive formations, and intriguing features. Its coloring is truly unique, ranging from deep browns to chestnut hues. Originating around 2019, this variety has maintained an air of semi-elusiveness. • Gill formation – Gills typically are medium to large, wide range of formation. Likely to have available gills for spore production. Spores do not discharge.
• Microscopy features Purple spores. Spore measure 7 x 12 micrometers. This variety does not typically discharge spores. But has dropped spores from time to time. Microscopes and magnification equipment are recommended for viewing microscopic features.
