Strain Origin:
KSC or Koh Samui Classic – Isolated Syringe derives from the citizen mycologist John Allen and was collected from the island of Koh Samui in the 90s. These magical mushrooms are identified by their deep rich cap color and prominent “toadstool” features.
Starting from spore, the Spore Coop team embarked on this journey and discovered a truly stunning phenotype, making this hybrid an exciting addition to the mycology community.
- Gill formation – Gills typically are medium I size, wide range of formation. Likely to have available gills for spore production.
- Microscopy features – Albino Chodewave Spore Swab: Spore measure 7 x 12 micrometers. This variety KSC will typically discharge spores. Germination of spores will often be observed having clamp connections and fine feathered mycelium. Microscopes and magnification equipment is recommended for viewing microscopic features.
