Description
BAPER RUST Isolated Plate
- Strain origin This unique strain unveiled an extraordinary and rare characteristic – the emergence of rust and golden-hued spores. The Original BAPER is a reverted APE mushroom with blue hues and white stipes. This discovery expands the boundaries of mycological knowledge, joining the ranks of just seven documented rust or gold-spored genetic variations worldwide. Surpassing even the elusive albino strains in rarity, the BAPER-Rust strain stands out with its captivating coloration and exceptional performance. It undeniably earns its status.
- Mycelium Characteristics – Often more tomentose and smoother fine feathering. Average colonization speeds.
- Gill formation – Gills typically are medium to large, wide range of formation. Good spore production observed, potential transitional to albino is possible.
- Microscopy features – RUST brown spores. Spore measure 7 x 12 micrometers. Has dropped spores from time to time. Germination of spores will often be observed having clamp connections and fine feathered mycelium. Microscopes and magnification equipment is recommended for viewing microscopic features.
- Rare Varieties in the Genetic Vault – Exceptional and rare varieties of Psilocybe cubensis are preserved in our Genetic Vault. For collectors interested in unique and collectible strains, we invite you to explore the offerings in the Vault.
