Strain origin – PES Amazonian, The name came from Pacifica Exotica Spora, a company that was the first to develop this strain that was found in the Amazonian jungle.
- Gill formation – Gills typically are medium to large, wide range of formation. Likely to have available gills for spore production.
- Microscopic features – Purplish brown spores. Spores measure 7 x 12 micrometers. This variety Amazon cubensis discharges spores during sporulation. Spores can be printed to be observed under magnification. Microscopes and magnification equipment are recommended for viewing microscopic features
