Albino Burma Mushroom Strain Profile
Variety Name: Albino Burma
Origin Location: USA (Lab-Isolated)
Species: Psilocybe cubensis
Spore Profile: Spore are clear, colorless spores with normal discharge sporulation (though subtle and sometimes difficult to observe). Albino Spores can still be printed or swabbed for observation under a microscope.
Fruit Profile: Striking pure white albino fruiting bodies, stout stems, and large, prominent caps.
Albino mushrooms are more commonly found in captivity as this is a receive trait that higher probability of survival in controlled environments.

History of Albino Burma
Albino Burma is a rare genetic isolation that emerged from the broader Leucistic Burma lineage. Like many albino traits in Psilocybe cubensis, it developed from lighter-fruiting genetics, eventually stabilizing into a strikingly pure white form. Its fruiting bodies are thick, compact, and visually distinct, standing out among both albino and leucistic varieties.
What makes Albino Burma especially interesting is its origin story. This variant was one of three separate albino isolates discovered by different researchers, all traced back to the same Leucistic Burma stock.
The fact that multiple albino expressions surfaced from a single genetic line highlights just how much diversity can exist within Psilocybe cubensis. Today, Albino Burma is valued for its consistency, resilience, and the elegant expression of its albino morphology. Cementing its place as both a genetic curiosity and a reliable specimen for researchers and collectors alike.
Most genetic varieties are used for microscopy and collection. Although not the most unique albino in the world. This is one of a handful that did not mutate and take on a completely new morphology.
