Mushroom Spore swabs are sterile cotton swabs that contain spores for microscopy use only. Spore prints are mushroom spores collected to foil, glass and preserved for genetic collections. 

Strain origin – Honduras Mushroom Spores originate in Honduras as the name suggests.  This mushroom grows in beautiful canopies producing nice spores.  It is relatively easy to grow for microscopic observation, and Makes a nice add to any collection.

1. Gill formation – Gills typically are medium to large, wide range of formation. Likely to have available gills for spore production.
2. Microscopic features – Purplish brown spores.  Spores measure 7 x 12 micrometers. This variety Honduras cubensis discharges spores during sporulation. Spores can be printed to be observed under magnification. Germination of spores will often be observed having clamp connections and fine feathered mycelium. Microscopes and magnification equipment are recommended for viewing microscopic features
